FONTANA — NOVEMBER 5, 2026. San Bernardino County supervisors approved $100,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Fontana as part of a $550,000 district-priorities package considered November 3. The two-year allocation will support leadership development, academic assistance, college and career exploration, and community activities.
A November event at North Fontana Skate Park
County officials specifically identified “A Sunday In The Park,” planned for November 22 at North Fontana Skate Park, as a free all-ages gathering featuring skateboarding, music and cultural activities. Organizers should be consulted for any exact program times or participation requirements; the county’s November 5 announcement does not give those details.
How the wider funding package works
Second District Supervisor Jesse Armendarez’s district-priorities allocation includes $200,000 for a Upland litter cleanup program and $250,000 for a separate youth music initiative. Fontana’s $100,000 is the portion earmarked for the Boys & Girls Club, not the entire $550,000 package.
What remains to track
The vote approves a funding allocation. It does not prove that every dollar has already been disbursed or that new programming is operating today. California58 will track which services are offered, participation rules and how the county reports results.
