FONTANA, San Bernardino County — November 3, 2026. Incumbent Acquanetta Warren had the largest reported share in Fontana’s mayoral election as of the county’s 10 p.m. unofficial count, with 11,220 votes (47.74%). Jocelyn “Joz” Sida followed with 8,147 (34.66%). With multiple candidates on the ballot and additional votes outstanding, this is not a certified result.
All mayoral candidates in the first tally
The official report listed Jackie Heredia with 1,637 votes (6.96%), Sal Casillas with 872 (3.71%), Mylinda Carrillo with 688 (2.93%), Lourdes Goñi Garcia with 577 (2.45%), and Nicholas Ortega with 363 (1.54%). These values are for the reported share of votes among candidates, not percentages of all registered residents.
How many precincts reported?
In the mayoral contest, the registrar listed 50 of 70 precincts (71.43%) and 24,927 ballots cast in the early count out of 124,010 registered voters. An initial posting of precinct reporting does not mean all legally valid ballots from those precincts have been fully processed.
Citywide mayor, citywide decisions
The mayor’s office is central to Fontana debates over services, land use, housing, traffic, the municipal budget and development. Because this is a citywide race, Fontana residents across council districts have a stake in the outcome.
